The Fourth Annual DSBN Short Film Competition was on November 9th, 2016. Art students Wil Bartley, Shail Patel, Aisha Wiens, Austin Adams, Brenna Pearson and Trin Bryden represented Port High.   

It was a race against time to make a thrilling film in one day!  The students worked hard from 9am until 9pm.   Judges were looking for storytellers to craft a story based on a concept given to them that morning.  Results wont be known until late November.  The students must first meet with a professional filmamker to go over their work.

The goal of this event is to provide freedom of choice in order to allow creativity to blast through the roof! Students can use the editing software of their choice for the film competition. They can also bring their own cameras and audio equipment.   Students were not be held back.
