The swim team at Port High is open to anyone from any grade and gender. Swim team will allow students to learn and improve their swimming skills and compete with other schools. Event Categories consist of: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and the Butterfly. The season starts Sept. and lasts until February.
We practice every Tuesday and Thursday after school at the YMCA. The following dates are the meets that take place at the Brock University Aquatic Centre. Any questions please see Ms. Brisbois in the main office

Port High's Swim Team had another strong showing at The A.N. Meyer invitational swim meet held at Brock University at Brock University. The senior medley team , consisting of Anita Bussi, Payton Dickie, Sheridan Sneek and Emma Laur, placed 4th in their zone. Emma Laur placed first in junior free style, first in junior backstroke and fourth in her junior I.M. Sheridan Sneek placed third in her junior I.M. Anita Bussi placed fourth in her Senior I.M. Our senior freestyle relay team consisting of Tatym Wagner, Anita Bussi, Sheridan Sneek and Emma Laur, placed third. Deanna Donnelly achieved sixth place in both of her para events. This was her first year as a swim team member and she was a fierce competitor. Excellent job by all members.
Brock Swim Meet Oct. 18th 2012
Port High Blue Bear's Swim Team once again made their presence known at the Brock Zone 3 and 4 Meet. Despite our small numbers PCHS still walked away with a first place finish. Haley Morrison earned a first in 50m breast stroke, Griffin Hockley place third in the 50 m breast junior boys. This was the best times for all competitors from Port High. It was also the first year that we had a girls freestyle relay team. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who came out to cheer on our team.
