Students in Mrs. Hockley's English 2D class use plickers to respond to a book sorting activity. This innovative use of technology allows students to hold up a card when responding to a question. Julie Aquilina (instructional coach with DSBN pictured above) scans the classroom using an ipad and the data is immediate projected in the form of a bar graph on the smart board. Students and the teacher can see how the class is responding. This is just one way that technology is being used in innovative ways at Port Colborne High School.
