PCHS has just taken delivery of a state of the art plasma cutter for use in our manufacturing technology area. This equipment has been purchased at a cost of over $12,000 to make sure that our SHSM manufacturing students continue to be the best in Ontario and among the best in Canada as they have been for a number of years. The new machine is computer driven and will allow students to design their own projects on a computer, and then transfer that design to create their own project in metal. This kind of technology is increasingly used in industry, and will definitely give our students an edge in the job market.
