Austin Stastny & Brooke Bulitz are recognized for their contributions to our community
Some of the best people and businesses along the Lake Erie shoreline now have fancy awards that recognize their contributions to the community.
The annual President’s Awards were handed out Wednesday night by Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce.
The awards honour hardworking citizens and the best in business from Port Colborne and Wainfleet.
The junior youth citizen of the year honour went to Oakwood student
Brooke Bulitz, while grade 12 PCHS student
Austin Stastny was named youth citizen of the year.
Austin is a very active member of Students' Council at Port Colborne High and carries a minimum overall average of 95%. He is also known for being articulate, compelling, humble, thoughtful and caring. Austin works very hard on behalf of his peers to improve his community via leading by example and promotes inclusion for all.
