The Blue Bears are very proud to present Reaghan Mitchell for the Excellence in Education award. Reaghan is an active participant in our extracurricular program, playing in basketball, volleyball, and soccer. In addition to sports, she is involved with the school math club. She is a conscientious and extremely hard working student with high personal standards who has consistently earned the highest average in her class. She volunteered to coach future Blue Bears girls in basketball at a local elementary school and she was a volunteer coach for a recreational volleyball team. At Port High, she is often a behind the scenes worker, rolling up her sleeves to help serve others through catering events hosted at the high school. She has enjoyed helping others learn and grow. The focus of her senior classes has been science and mathematics courses. Reaghan has shown single minded determination as she works towards personal goals and she is fully committed to excellence in her studies. For her future pursuits, Reaghan is interested in forensics and bio-chemistry. She is a dedicated and focused learner who will excel in furthering her education. Reaghan is a wonderful student and the Blue Bears are proud to celebrate her success and achievements.
