This unique program links senior secondary school students to Faculty of Mathematics and Science mentors from various scientific disciplines.
Designed for students who are highly interested in science, demonstrate significant scientific curiosity and are capable of working independently. The Brock University Science Mentorship Program offers the opportunity to pursue a real-life scientific investigation under the supervision of a faculty or staff member in a university laboratory environment.
Secondary school science and co-op teachers from across Niagara annually encourage and nominate gifted students to participate in this program. Applications are received in the spring with placements commencing the following fall semester of the secondary school year.
